(Sorry to be away so long I was TCB(Taking Care of Business))
So picking up where I left off, I'm back on skies for the next 12 years. Meanwhile
my Son expresses interest in snowboarding NO PROBLEM
Me on skies Him on a Snowboard a happy marriage. So I guess the
new
desire for me to get back on a snowboard was a trip to the Jersey Shore
this summer. This was also the inspiration for a board shop in Bristol,
PA.
A childhood Friend of mine Pat Flynn was still involved in the
surf scene at 7th street surf shop in OC NJ. He gives lessons part
time. I called Pat to let Him know that I would be down for the weekend
and I'd like to get my son and his buddy some surf lessons. Although I
surfed as a teenager it hardly qualified me to teach him
since I haven't been on a board since the drinking age in New Jersey was 18.
Pat said he would put me in touch with his head Pro Matt. That morning my Son,
his friend and I meet Matt for there first lesson. Matt told them that
this day will change "THE REST OF YOUR LIFE" and it did!
